Current Use Application
Looking to reduce your taxes? Use this form if you wish to have a portion of your property classified as "current use". This is a multi-page form (hey, the state is involved!), so be sure you print all pages and submit the completed forms to the Selectmen. There are a few other associated forms to go along with this one, including a Grading Form, and Instructions for Mapping.
Intent To Cut
You'll need to complete this notification form so the state can be sure to hit you up for the Timber Tax! Other associated info you might want include Timber Grading.
Intent to Excavate
We don't think you need this to dig up a garden, but who knows?! Seriously, if you think you need this form, then you probably do.
Property Tax Abatements & Deferrals
Are you a veteran? Elderly? Or just wish to see if any of the other exemption categories fit or whether you can apply for a deferral? Use these forms to submit your completed application to the Select Board. Lots more info on Taxpayer Issues/Questions, etc. can be found here.
Permanent Property Tax Abatement Application (This includes the veteran's section)

Tax Abatement Application_
Do you think your property was unfairly assessed? Or that the assessor accidentally visited your neighbor's place instead of yours? Your property was accidentally removed from current use? If you feel you've got a case for a reduction in your assessed value, use this form to make your case to the Selectmen.
Town Hall Contract
Please print this form out, complete it, and mail it in or drop it off at Town Hall. The Selectmen will review your request and let you know if it is not approved. In this case, no news is good news: if you don't hear from them, it means your request was approved. P.S. If you think there is any chance you might need to use the handicap lift, don't forget to tick that on the form; otherwise, you do not get that key. And no one wants the town to be sued over an ADA violation!
Town Hall "Equipment" Contract_
Use this form if you need to borrow town hall equipment, such as tables, chairs, kitchen equipment, and will be taking it OUT of the Town Hall. You do not need to complete this form if you are using the equipment IN the Town Hall - for that one, just the contract for the Hall itself.
You will need Adobe Reader to open and print these forms. If you don't have it, download it free, here.
